We have found a permanent retail location for our Bargain Boutique! We’ve already started packing and are planning the big move. We’re set to open for business in our new spot between Big Lots and Auto Zone in the Tri-County Plaza shopping center off Hwy 9 in Cumming on April 1st.
It’s a huge blessing to our ministry that the vision of a temporary fund-raising sale was so well received that we were able to extend it for several months and now we are making it a permanent store.
As you can imagine, with a move like this we’re going to need lots of help. For those of you who were on my mailing list for the first go around you’ll remember my pleas for help and all the praises we had for how well everything fell into place. I am hopeful many of you will want to donate some of your time to help us get our new location ready. There are several teams we need on several days.
Please think about how you might be able to help and/or if you know of someone or a group that might be interested, please pass the message along. I’ll describe the needs below. Even if you cannot help us physically, please prayerfully consider whether you can help us with our list of needs.

WAYS WE NEED YOUR HELP
I’ll coordinate the volunteer efforts, so please email me with the times you are available.
**Painting – the whole store needs to be primed, painted and trimmed. We also need supplies. See the list at the bottom and bring what you can.
**We need 10 volunteers daily on Friday 3/10, Sat 3/11, Mon 3/14 and Tues 3/15 to paint. Ron Clair is heading up this team and will be working from 10am to 4pm these days. Please let me know what days/times you are available.
**Carpet Cleaning – does anyone have access to a commercial quality carpet cleaner or service? We’d like to work around the painting and before the fixtures go in for a good cleaning. Probably Mon and/or Tues 3/14-15.
**Packing/Organizing at the current location – we need four volunteers to help Linda from 12pm – 4pm Wed and Thurs 3/16-17 to prep for the move.
**THE MOVE! – Here’s where we need the guys!! (Great opportunity for our teens as well.) We need to schedule at least eight men, plus pickup trucks and/or trailers on Saturday 3/19 and Saturday 3/26 from 9am – 1pm both days.
