Dear Blackwelder Class,
Thank you so much for the wonderful meal this week for Eagle Ranch. The boys LOVED the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese!! They had a fabulous meal AND had left overs for another one.
What a blessing that is for Jim and Amanda as houseparents.
This was our first meal of the school year with them and the boys were so excited to see Gail and John Perry (First Redeemer Members who go each month). I am always so blessed to get a chance to go and visit with the boys and with Jim and Amanda.
We had so much fun that Gail and I both forgot to take a picture to share. I am so sorry about that because I wanted you to see their sweet faces -especially eating that chicken and cookies. Actually, I am neglecting to say what a hit the fruit was. I was amazed how they LOVED the fruit. I don't think I have ever seen young 10 year old boys fighting over Kiwi slices. So cute.
It was a GREAT night!
